Sell Your Plans
Are you an architect, designer, or even an owner/builder with a set of plans you would like to sell on this site? If so, we would love to hear from you. As you can tell from our other pages, we have a high standard of quality and so not everyone who wants to sell their plans with us is accepted. That said, if your plans meet our guidelines, then we would be happy to sell them for you. Please take a minute to review the basic details outlined here and the contract paperwork available at the bottom of this page. In the contract, you will find all the details about how we work with designers, architects, and owner/builders. We truly strive to make this a win-win-win situation for you, us, and our clients.
Minimum Plan Requirements
- Foundation plan
- Foundation detail drawings (sometimes included on foundation plan page)
- Dimensioned floor plans for each level
- Window and door schedules
- Construction notes (number and detail vary by plan)
- Whole house cross-section (or multiple cross sections if applicable)
- Exterior elevations (sometimes interior elevations as well)
- Wall details (typically drawn in sectional format)
- Floor framing plans for each level (if applicable)
- Roof framing details
- Electrical plans (for each level)
Supporting Document Requirements
- Designer biography and photo
- Photos of the structure if complete or sketches/renderings of project
- Simplified floor plan(s)
- Simplified elevations
- Description of project
